All Stardust coatings are constructed from binders, acrylics and cements that are of the highest quality and are formulated to adhere to concrete. With Stardek III there is a raised surface and heavy body to this product giving it texture and a stamped concrete look. If you choose a brick design for instance, you can feel where the raised brick meets the lower mortar in the design. The product is not a paint and it is not just a stain. It is better described as a commercially applied aggregate, similar to those that are applied with a trowel or texture gun. It hardens into a very hard thin finish that lasts for years. It is this very quality that allows our technicians to transform the coating into many textures and colors. The finished product is slip resistant, skid proof and the surface becomes cooler than concrete. It is resistant to "Hot Tire Pickup." The application is perfect for pool decks, driveways, garage floors and walkways.

Acrylic cement is our specialty product. This product comes in three flavors. Stardek 1 is for those wanting a smooth, but non slip surface. With Stardek 2 we can make designs, but they are not raised as they are in Stardek 3. Stardek 3's specially formulated cements are sprayed onto your new or old concrete giving the look and feel of stone, slate, brick, tile, or even a unique design of your own. Depending on customer preference, we start with a grout color and then we add the pattern. After drying, we seal the surface with our acrylic sealer (2 coats) and depending on the pattern, we can form smooth or textured surfaces. Surfaces are resistant to oils, grease, mildew, rust and acids. The colors permeate the material. We use acrylic cements for driveways, pool decks, walkways and patios. Acrylic Cement -Stardek 3. Our specialty product. Customers like it because of its looks and long lasting durability. It is formulated with special binding agents and cement-like materials. It has qualities that enable our technicians to shape and mold it into patterns and three dimensional representations of bricks, stone and slate. It is then sealed with two coats of acrylic sealer making it resistant to oils, grease and the elements. When it is dry it looks and feels like real brick or stone.
